'Barracuda' and 'Swordfish' were purpose designed and built for 'Resort Connections'. They are 19 metre catamarans, with a capacity for 123 passengers (70 inside/53 on the upper viewing deck) and cruise at 24 knots.

Sea conditions in the Whitsundays can often be choppy. These vessels have a high tunnel (the gap in the middle) so that they can cruise comfortably in all conditions and not get buffeted as vessels lower to the water do.

Cruise Whitsundays now have four Resort Connections vessels with 'Blue Fin' and 'Orca' being added to the fleet.

Creature comforts on the vessels include air conditioning, plasma screens to provide information on the Resort and area, a bar serving REAL coffee and a full range of drinks snacks. Hmmm… decisions, do I have a cappuccino or rum and coke?!
